Postpartum Depression, How it Affected My Marriage



Listening to my son cry in the living room with my husband, I hurry and close the bedroom door and lock it. My back turned to the door, I let myself fall to the floor. I don’t want to hear another minute of the crying or whining. I just want to be by myself. I don’t feel like myself. I feel sick.

This is how I felt back in the fall of 2014. I had just had my son 2 months prior. Everything seemed to have been going great. I had shown no signs of Postpartum Depression or anything of the sort. I enjoyed my time as a new mom to our second son. This is when Postpartum Anxiety and Depression decided to come knocking on my door and unfortunately for me, I let them in…
